He's a marketer who spent real money learning to use AI properly and then realized most people don't need to pay for the expensive tools to get started. They need to actually use the free tier well, and only pay when they're ready to implement. That's the opposite of what most AI gurus sell you. I'm building out a coaching practice right now, and that mindset, get good with what's free before you spend a cent is exactly the kind of thing I wish someone told me earlier. It's not just backstory, it's the philosophy behind his approach to sales. If you are runing or starting a small business, you're a seles person. Then go build something with what's free. That's the point. As he says, Go be dangerous!

Since asking back then and reading our artifact and other replies to my original post, I also found a use case for projects inside Cowork. When you start the project, you can connect a folder and then set instructions. You can add your ICM folder to the project, once created you can set the instructions to: Before doing anything, open START-HERE.md and follow it. Then every chat in that project will get initialized correctly.

This is a really strong start to the course. What clicked for me: the framing that literally any business is breaking at least one of the 3 laws (Speed, Persistence, the Right Message), and usually all 3. That reframes "what do I sell" into "what leak do I fix". Such a simpler way to think about offers.
